"I don't know what I was hoping for, but this is a lot to unpack. I was surprised to learn that what I enjoy most is a superfood, and that spinach and bell peppers, something else I enjoy, should be avoided. That was new. I'm concerned with spending $200 a month on supplements though - in addition to what I take already: fish oil, vitD2/K2, calcium, and Blink™NutriTears® Supplement for dry eyes."
— Valeri P. (1/5)
"The layout is hard to understand, I have to pay a dietitian to help me decipher the results, as I can't meet with a Viome person for over two months, I don't know how the layout could improve, but flipping from screen to screen for results and reasons makes it tedious"
— LAURA H. (3/5)
"I wouldn’t recommend this service. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the $300 I paid—especially since the price dropped to $200 just a week later. I reached out to the company to see if they could honor the new price, but they denied my request. As for the results, they mainly suggested foods that are already part of my regular diet, so I didn’t find the information helpful or insightful. It felt more like an attempt to push supplements rather than provide accurate or personalized results. Overall, I don’t think this service delivers enough value for the cost."
— Andrea L. (1/5)
"I was very surprised with the outcome. Results were actually not in line with current medical situations. Food which are termed as superfood trigger me . I really don’t m know if I can trust this"
— Manish A. (3/5)
"grossly inaccurate. Test "revealed" health problems I do not have . Also, some food recommendations were made because they would interfere with medications I take, but I DO NOT TAKE ANY. Soooo. . . . . I think the enitre thing is a sales tactic and the test is pseudoscience. Would give a negative star if I could, but I was required to give at least one."
— Joanne H. (1/5)
"I have been struggling with inflammation and belly swelling. VIOME gave me so much information on what foods to avoid. I also love the recipes that have your specific foods you can eat. Since avoiding these foods my joints and belly have been feeling better! Definitely worth it."
— Melissa W. (5/5)
"I am extremely disappointed in what I received from Voime. The reports are un organized, lack specific details and not consolidated so they can be easily printed or forwarded to my doctor. I will not recommend Viome to anyone and I feel like I completely wasted the $300 I spent on Viome!!"
— Gina A. (1/5)
"I was very excited to get results. I feel like they're pretty basic and I don't feel I was given much info I guess I expected more. The cost was high for what little I feel like got back."
— Denise B. (2/5)
"I've been especially trying to focus on my Super Foods, many that haven't been in my diet regularly or ever- Aloe Vera Juice! It's NASTY, but I mix it with s/t tastier. I'm following the avoid foods list, but had a little cooked broccoli, part of a chicken menu item. My digestive system is doing better. I bought a non-flouride toothpaste locally & have quite a supply of supplements I was taking through other recommendations. May order Viome supplements when more current supplements are gone."
